About Us
What we do
Our goals are to recruit quality candidates to run as Democrats, and do everything we can to get
them elected. To that end, we host or participate in many different activities:
- Candidate recruitment
- Public candidate forums and debates
- Parades and village festivals
- Door-to-door canvassing
- Phone-banking
- Voter registration drives
- Community service
- Fundraisers (for ourselves or for candidates)
- Issues-based forums or presentations
- Letter-writing campaigns
- Neighborhood candidate receptions

Meetings
The monthly meeting of the York Democrats is the first Wednesday of each month, at Lombard Park District's Log Cabin. The park entrance is at 16th Street and Main in Lombard, south of Roosevelt and north of 22nd. Light refreshments are provided. Please contact us with questions.
